The colors and stylized shaping of this Madonna with Child evoke emotions that lead even down to the heart of the observing person.
The blue color of Holy Mary’s mantle covers the whole figure to highlight the celestial relationship between mother and child. Blue is considered the color of the divinity.
This artwork of maple wood and with 60cm of linden, is part of the wood-carved Holy Marie’s collection that Sonia is handcrafting, all are specially marked products of Val Gardena’s artisanal performance.
