Jesus Christ stylized with a sun-burned wood cross

Carved as stylized wooden sculpture, Jesus bands his head to its right shoulder; the legs are crossed.
The sculpture of Jesus is attached to a rough gray wooden cross composed of tree twigs that Sonia is collecting in the woods of her valley.
The character of this burned gray wood comes from the natural aging of the forest undergrowth because its exposed to any and all-weather conditions and to the sun’s rays. These twigs were fallen since years from the trees, now showing different irregular shapes. The INRI script also is fixed on the cross.
