Valentiine’s day – by our days
The whole world celebrates Valentine’s Day and each country has its own special traditions and customs. In Anglo-Saxon countries, for example, Valentine’s cards are decorated with love symbols such as hearts, cupids, angels and doves. In the Latin ones, however, Valentine’s Day goes beyond love and spouses, it is also the day of the closest friendships. Among the most appreciated gifts are objects with personal engravings. Ask Sonia to personalize these for you, certainly a very welcome surprise.

Why specifically the bishop of Terni?
It is said that Valentino was punished for being the first religious to celebrate the marriage between a Christian woman and a Roman legionary.
Another legend calls that Valentino heard a couple arguing next to his garden. Thus, he immediately went there asking them not to argument anymore and gifted them a rose. The young people, some time later, asked the bishop to bless their marriage. From that day, the story spread, many lovers went to Valentino on the 14th of each month, the day dedicated to blessings.
