SONIA Nativity scene

The SONIA Nativity scene represents a Romanesque style. The crib is made of two types of wood, which differ depending on the size of the figurines. Ash wood with its characteristic grain is used for the sizes 11 cm and 15 cm; for the sizes 3 cm, 18 cm and 22 cm maple wood. The sculptures are painted with oil to ensure a long-term color consistency. Eventually, upon request the latter may be painted with watercolors as well.

This Nativity scene shows very special sculpted characters to whom should be given a special consideration because of their art-beauty: the shepherd with the sheep, the camel driver and the Announcing angel.
